December 2, 2025 – Session 2: Managing dynamics demand advanced cloud environments

Cloud Journey Program

Organisations are in a constant state of transformation, requiring advanced cloud environments that drive data-powered business innovation. As the pace of digital transformation accelerates, the rise of AI further increases the demand for agile, scalable, and intelligent cloud capabilities.

To fully capture these opportunities and ensure technology resilience, organisations must rethink their cloud strategies and involve technology teams earlier in the innovation process. This early collaboration is crucial to align cloud foundations with business goals and to support long-term agility and compliance.

In order to manage dynamic demands for compute and storage, advanced cloud environments are essential. Many organisations still rely on outdated cloud strategies. Ask yourself: when was the last time your organisation revised its cloud approach? For most, it has been more than five years, yet the technology, business, and regulatory context have changed dramatically. A strategic revamp is no longer optional; it is required.

Jeroen Scheer, CIO/CTO of ANWB Energy, will share his journey and explain how the company is preparing its cloud architecture to manage dynamic energy demands. He will also highlight the increasing importance of controlling cloud energy consumption, an area where every organisation can make a difference.

Key Topics:
· Empowering business innovation with modern cloud architectures
· Designing AI-native cloud environments to support AI adoption and data strategies
· Enhancing business resilience through scalable, energy-aware infrastructures
