September 22, 2026 – Resilient AI in Finance

We are organizing a round table for senior leaders in the financial sector on innovation including (agentic) AI and business resilience and technology dependencies. The discussion will focus on how banks, insurers and pension providers can adopt new technologies in ways that strengthen resilience and going beyond achieving efficiencies. The financial sector, and especially banks, are focusing on process redesign. Powered by innovative technologies such as AI and their underlying platforms they are advancing their processes to create strategic advantage and increased effectiveness.

A further theme will be the design of innovative technology stacks and architectures, including choices around models, orchestration layers, data access, integration with legacy estates and the balance between resilience, flexibility and control. This also raises practical dilemmas around vendor dependency, portability, sovereignty, explainability, security boundaries and the protection of institutional knowledge.

The round table is intended to provide a practical exchange of perspectives on how organizations in the financial sector can create value with innovative technologies such as (agentic) AI without increasing dependency. It will bring together a small group of executives to discuss common challenges, sector-specific priorities and emerging good practice. The setting will be informal, peer-based and focused on strategic dialogue rather than presentations.
